Buchanan Technologies has partnered with a client in Arlington, TX for a Web Software Developer.
BASIC FUNCTION: The Web Software Developer programs and maintains software, as well as assisting with new designs.
This employee has contact with other Company departments.
JOB DUTIES: Write programming code for new projects and enhancements to existing systems.
Perform unit and integration testing of all programming code to ensure proper functionality.
Assist in the creation of technical documentation using UML. Maintain a current knowledge of existing systems software and hardware.
OTHER IMPORTANT DUTIES Perform other related duties, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge Microsoft C# Microsoft .Net class libraries Javascript, and VBScript scripting languages XML HTML Skills Good verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines required.
Position requires proficiency skills with various software packages such as Word, Excel, etc. Experience Prior exposure to HTML, XML, Javascript, VBScript, and .Net is helpful Position requires 3-6 years of programming experience WORK CONDITION: Normal Office Environment; subject to stressful situations.
