Mechanical Design Engineer,

PumpingSol an Alpharetta GA growing manufacturing company specializing in the design and fabrication of packaged pumping systems seeks Mechanical Design Engineer; this is a Temp-To-Hire position. Fluid handling background and some electrical design experience would be ideal. BSME required and minimum 5 year experience.

Contributes to enterprise business goals through enterprise referrals and relationship building.Job Duties

Acquires and applies developing knowledge of products, services, and processes.

Acquires and applies developing product acquisition and/or member service techniques.

Handles basic billing inquiries focusing on "One & Done" philosophy.

Training Hours

Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm for the first two weeks.The Part time training schedule will be 9:00am-3:00pm following your first two weeks.The total amount of training time lasts for 13 + weeks, this includes New Employee Orientation, Licensing, Enterprise Knowledge, Pipeline training and On-the-job-training.

Licensing training is provided.

You must obtain your license within 3 testing attempts (paid for by USAA).You must successfully complete a training program.

USAA training programs include classroom instruction, computer-based lessons, instructor-led activities and systems simulations.

Employees attending training are expected to meet USAA’s established standards for performance, attendance and conduct.

Work schedule

Availability to work 5 days 25 – 30 hour work week between the hours of 8:30am-3:00pm to include Saturdays or Sundays.

A 30 percent Shift Premium pay would apply to work hours scheduled after 6pm, M-F & Weekends.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.

2 years of customer service/sales experience OR Bachelors degree OR Successful completion of military service OR 1 year customer service/sales experience plus 30 hours of college credits.

1 + years experience multi-tasking in a Windows operating system environment.

1 + years experience frequently communicating (minimum 60 percent of the time) with customers by phone, e-mail and/or face to face.

Current Agent’s license or ability to obtain within a designated number of attempts.

Preferred 2 years of customer service experience in a relationship building environment.

Contact/Call Center experience.

Experience cross selling or up-selling products.

Epes Logistics – hiring Logistics Account Executive (work from home office)

POSITION SUMMARY
The overall responsibility of the Logistics Account Executive for Epes Logistics Services, Inc. is to develop book of business with both current and new accounts. The LAE will also act as the liaison between client, carrier, shipper, and receiver while managing the movement of the client’s goods, ensuring that they are picked up, transported and delivered on time to meet or exceed the client’s expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Telemarket to develop current and new business opportunities for Epes Logistics. Build a portfolio of clients by researching and seeking out prospects via sales calls.

Develop a target account list that will be subject to continual additions.

Determine unprofitable or below-market rates within customer rate schedule and propose increases or adjustments as needed.

Determine and evaluate customer needs, prepare sales presentations, negotiate and formulate rate proposals, provide needed customer service follow-up, and prepare sales correspondence as needed.

Resolve customer concerns and complaints. Talk with customers by phone on a daily basis, identifying stated needs and developing programs to meet customer expectations.

Enter into AS400 orders for load pick-ups which will provide accurate customer billing and carrier settlements.

Coordinate designated carrier-to-customer pick-up with time of pick-up, delivery, and special instructions as directed by the customer.
Responsible for securing adequate capacity for freight booked.

Responsible for decisions and implementation of pick-up and delivery to ensure customer requirements are met.

Responsible for tracking and tracing loads enroute, scheduled for pick-up, and those with delivery status.

Responsible for tracking affiliate carriers via AS400 for on-time service.

Responsible for handling complaints concerning billing or service rendered on capacity side.

Coordinate and monitor performance of affiliate and partner carriers.

Work with dedicated carriers to ensure commitments are met.

Adhere to and comply with Federal, State, DOT, OSHA, and Company rules and regulations.

Demonstrates support to the Epes Carriers, Inc. Quality Management System and its objectives, as applicable.

Work with the Vice President of Quality to establish and promote a true quality improvement process to include the Quality Management System at the company with the involvement of all personnel.

Perform other duties as assigned or become necessary.
