PAID phone interview: Opiate dependent pregnant women/new mothers (All Over Georgia)

June 29th, 2011

Georgia State University’s Psychology Department is seeking women who are or were pregnant, or had a newborn (under one year of age) while opiate dependent. We would like to conduct an interview on the phone or have you participate in a focus group. We will be asking about perceptions regarding opioid treatment (feelings towards medication assisted treatment, perceptions regarding health care professionals attitudes, barriers and facilitators obtaining treatment, what you know about treatment, etc.).

All responses are completely confidential. Your name and any other information that could be used to identify you will not appear in any reports and no one other than the researchers will have access to your information. All data will be used to develop an intervention at increasing awareness of the issue and the likelihood pregnant women and new mothers seek and obtain the appropriate care.

A $30 Kroger gift card will be given to each participant to compensate them for their time.
If you are interested or have any questions, please contact us by email or phone (404-413-6327).
