IT Manager (Buford, GA)
Buford area Sports Marketing Firm seeks IT Manager, Position is immediately available for qualified candidate.
IT Manager will have the responsibility for IT systems administration and network infrastructure for a small to medium size company. Reporting directly to the CEO, the position will support systems in both main office and sign production facility. The ideal candidate will be an IT specialist that has administered systems and networks in similar-sized or larger companies, is current with the latest administration trends, and has a strong hands-on technical background.
Duties of Position:
? Linux systems administration
? Windows systems administration
? Storage architecture and administration
? Database administration (MSSQL, MS Access)
? SBS 2008 (Exchange 2007, IIS)
? Extensive knowledge of MS Active Directory and integration with LDAP
? Network administration of 3com devices
? Network architecture design, implementation, and support (LAN)
? Experience with Data Protection/Backup protection (replication, Backup Exec)
? Knowledgeable in System monitoring best practices
? Experience with proactive systems capacity planning
? Expert in performance tuning and analysis and Trend Micro
? Technical desktop support for 50+ users
? Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Familiarity with MS Access Queries and SQL Server Transact-SQL is a plus
? 4+ years of relevant experience in the IT field
? BS degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, and/or related field plus experience
? MCSA Certification
? Possess a positive and proactive (‘can do’) attitude
? Outstanding work ethic, detail oriented, motivated with commitment to quality and teamwork
? Knowledgeable of the current trends in Systems Administration and Network architecture
? Experience with PBX systems, but not required.
? Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills
? Ability to work in a fast-pace, deadline driven environment, work independently, while remaining a team player
? Ability to think strategically, analyze problems and develop tactics/strategies enabling business growth
