CNC Lathe set-up operator Job in New Berlin 53151, Wisconsin US

Job Description: CNC Lathe set-up / operator: The set-up operator must be capable of performing a set-up on a new part that has never been proven out. They must be capable of mounting all cutting tools and touching them off. The set-up operator must be capable of installing various chucking systems and indicating them in where applicable.

The set-up operator must be able to properly bore chuck jaws and have experience working with chucking systems such as, collets, mandrels, and fixtures mounted on a chuck using a combination of movable jaws, fixed position jaws, or holding devices.

The set-up operator must understand the proper methods of dry running and error proofing the CNC program.

They must be somewhat proficient in understanding G code programming, and have the ability to edit or write new code where required.

The set-up operator must exhibit some leadership skills as they will be working with lesser skilled operators and must set the tone of the business.

Wages is dependent on skill level and will range from $16.50 – $20.50ALSOCNC lathe Operator-$13.00 – $16.50Job Experience: 1 plus years needed.
