Position Responsibilities Cal live anywhere in the US. Travel to client sites.
Leverages learning and prior work experience to implement and support robust, innovative technology solutions to complex problems.
Review implemented technology solutions; document lessons learned and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Participates in the resolutions of critical and complex design and implementation issues across projects.
Demonstrates understanding of the impact of the range of technology issues affecting consultant’s area of specialization.
Ability to quickly learn new products or product enhancements, conduct unit, system and integration testing.
Ability to provide product installations, maintenance, and work on multiple projects.
Mentors less experienced technical consultants.
May provide advanced database services to meet client needs.
Maintains working relationships with clients and may have frequent and direct contact with senior level executives of the client.
Ability to work independently.
Recognized as a subject-matter expert and thought leader in area of technical specialization.
Position Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Math or Computer Science or technical equivalent.
8-10 years relevant database experience or 6-7 years programming experience plus three years of relevant database experience.
Experience with Oracle databases in a Windows, UNIX, and/or Linux environments.
Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience: SGHE Banner DBA Experience SGHE Operational Data Store Experience Oracle Certified Professional Oracle Warehouse Builder Experience Oracle Software Configuration Manager Oracle Discoverer and/or Designer Oracle RAC – Real Application Clusters Approximatelly 50% travel is required.
Microsoft SQL Server experience PL/SQL Pro
C Cobol Oracle Forms and Reports Strong project management, organizational, and client facing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Oracle 11g products (including Application Tier a plus) Experience with managing an IT Staff a plus Sun
