Strafford, a Midtown area professional seminar provider and business publisher, seeks an Attorney-Editor for our Legal Webinar Editorial Department. Strafford produces 600+ web-based, live seminars each year for attorneys, CPAs, tax professionals, and other business executives. Strafford’s legal webinars are CLE-accredited live seminars conducted over the telephone and internet.

The position available is a PT contract position to work with a team of attorney-editors in developing content for seminars targeted to specific attorney practice areas; identifying, recruiting and coordinating attorney-speakers for the seminars and overseeing the editorial execution of the seminars, including writing outlines and promotional copy for the seminar.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the position will be an attorney with either law firm (business law) or corporate legal department experience. Experience with commercial finance law will be a plus but is not required. Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills – verbal and written – are a must. We will consider a newly barred attorney or law graduate with substantive commercial finance or business law experience.
